We learned that we need to get an Indonesian visa ahead of time when crossing into Indonesia from Timor Leste. We were under the impression that we could buy one at the border, so it’s good to know! We can’t apply for a visa until tomorrow because the Indonesian consulate is closed today.
We took the opportunity to go walking around and email our families. We finally bought traveller’s insurance,
It’s sad that we have to buy drinking water now. It’s so nice to be able to drink tap water...so convenient. From now on it looks like it’s going to be the trend.
