The last couple of days weren’t too exciting, the only notable thing was that I (JD) visited the doctor who prescribed anitbiotics and rest.
So, today, after I got high on my new drug supply, we checked out of the nice little Hotel Slemat, ran some errands, and hit the road! It took us a long while, along a winding, pothole-ridden road, but it was beautiful countryside with meandering rivers and funny shaped hills.
We once in Bandung, we decided it was best to stay in a hotel, as the twon is huge! It is getting harder to find decent camping space the further west we go in Java. We used our usual tactic of random driving around and checking out each hotel until we found one that we liked. We found a little ‘Wisma’(guesthouse) in the hills just behind the city, which wasn’t too overpriced. We went to an internet cafe, which served delicious crispy chicken, we had two servings. Then we rode a bemo back up the hill and went to bed! Yay!
