A lot of driving in WA

15 October 2008

Because of Jonny’s visa situation, we have to leave Australia by October 25th, the latest. That means that we have to drive about 4500km in 10 days. It’s no biggie at all, it just means that we can’t do all the things we wanted to do.

Last time we visited Cape Range National Park near Exmouth, Jonathan had an ear infection. He didn’t get to see the Ningaloo Reef at all. On this trip, we wanted to stop by there one more time. Unfortunately, because we are pressed for time, we are going to have to bypass it. We are hoping that this won’t happen too often on this trip...

So, the most interesting thing that happened today was that I nearly flushed a frog in the toilet. After seeing what I thought was a gift left from the previous toilet client, I sucked it up and went to the toilet anyway. It turns out what I thought was a turd was actually a little froggy!

We saw an abnormal amount of dead kangaroos today, it’s too bad.
