The big event of the day was that we got our 60 day Visa. Francis got shafted with a 30-day, and after arguing with the mean visa-lady, he was able to extend it. The Visa-lady asked him for a official letter requesting the 60-day visa. As he didn’t write Englsih well, he just copied out our letter word for word. As the visa-lady didn’t understand english, it didn’t matter all! All she wanted was some document.
Marie-Claude bought some Gurci sunglasses. Genuine Gurci.
After that, headed to the Jesus beach. Caught a taxi there with Joe, a guy staying at our hostel. The taxi driver walked all the way up to the statue with us. The view was pretty neat. On our way back, the driver confessed that he will love Joe forever. Joe didn’ t fell quite at ease, but the rest of us had a good laugh about it.
The rest of the day was our usual hanging out at the hostel, and we said bye to Joe and Jonas who were going back to Indo the next day
